Edcon / Finrite Cellphone Insurance Approval day light *******

Edgars Finrite cell phone insurance. I had a horrible experience, my cover amount is R8000.00 was covered for a J7 prime which I purchase at R+-6800.00 at the time. I lost the phone and reported it, they took forever to respond and I had to buy another phone cash as I had to travel. Now, I received a text message saying that my claim will lapse in 10 days if I do not claim. Upon enquiry, I am not I am only approved for R5500.00 how could that be? The phone I used to have is no longer made and now I wanted to purchase another phone, but R5500 is way to little to cover any phone, Edgards phones are over prized.

What must I do, as the phone I want is in Edgards Balitto Junction (an Iphone 7) I need for them to send it to my local branch Phalaborwa. But I cannot pay to difference of R3500.00 I REFUSE that is day light *******. When I asked if the amount can be amended, I was told that because I delayed, then they cannot adjust the approval to R8000.00 WHY? I am still within the staplated period. I am supposed to be put in a similar position, not WORSE OF... Please approve, immediately and get the phone transferred as right now, my hands are tied and time is not on my side. I cannot ask the shop the send unless, I know I can pay the difference. I am willing to pay R800.00 which is my access and R400.00 which is to top up...
