Disappointing service at Edcon and Jet stores

I am very disappointed and disgusted to say the very least! i payed off my jet stores/ edcon account on the 26th of October 2019 and on the paid up letter it is written we are in the process of updating this with the credit Bureaux however till today this has not been updated and this is making my life extremely difficult as i am trying to purchase a car. How is it that no one at the customer service on *** or Sandile who i was told is the only person who can sort this out on *** or even at the stores is able to clear this out? Why is Edcon and their staff members not assisting
