Complaint on RCS, Jet, Edcon

I have been having an account with Edcon for the past 5years now and I've been paying well. In 2019 I decided that I am no longer going to use my account to make purchases with, but I was just paying more on it. Ive been paying for my 3cellphone insurances, I haven't been having any challenges. This year since Edcon has been recued by RCS I've been getting so many call that my account is in Arrears, I've received statements but I haven't been making payments for the 3 months now due to the fact that my account was added by R1000 My normal Insurance installment is R230 per month but my statement shows that I'm owing R1856, how is that?

I've spoken to Several RCS agents, as they have been calling me but immediately when I inform them that Jet is robbing me they just hung up, the agents are so rude and I'm really annoyed with this account. I'm only keeping it due to my insurances but I will not even Advice anyone to open an account with Edcon, Jet or edgars. I went to the edgars store and also the jet store with this query but they couldn't assist me

Please attend to my query as I am willing to pay off the 3months arrears amount and close this account but I will not pay the R1000 wink no one even understands how it accumulated
