Assistance denied
I called Hollard through the Jet Trade Route store this morning requiring amendments and additional home protect insurance. I held on longer than usual due to being transferred from the Hollard to Edcon Call centre and the unavailability of Sotho speaking consultants at the Edcon Call centre. I requested to speak to a supervisor to protest being forced to speak either English or Zulu. The supervisor (Asanda if I’m not mistaken) made excuses about being in Durban which she claimed didn’t have a Sotho speaking population. I eventually left the store without having being assisted either telephonically or personally. Edcon should let me know if they only want to assist Zulu and English speaking customers and I’ll gladly go elsewhere. I probably won’t be the only one deserting the brand judging by its financial woes.
