All talk no action, Head Office worse than branch!

First complaint: 17/09/15
Second complaint: 28/09/15

Never mind the emails I sent them directly requesting their assistance because they didn't reply to that either. Tried to make it as clear as possible how urgent it was for me, and I'm sure most people, to have a phone. Till this date I haven't heard anything. Luckily I used my initiative and bought a phone, for R5000, because their ineffectualness was as clear as it is now as it was from day one.

So I'm paying off a phone that I can't use that CNA is keeping till I can make a plan to go back to South Africa to do them a favor by returning it to the branch I purchased it from. And they can't even keep in correspondence, talk about taking advantage of someone!

Also, as I've requested by email, I'm waiting to find out why I'm being charged for a full months insurance on a tablet I had for not even 12 hours before returning it because it was faulty. An why must I pay for a full months insurance on a cellphone that was sold to me under the erroneous information, when I had returned it within 7 days which CNA is now holding...

Nice one guys! The capabilities of the team running this department are phenomenal!

Hello J0NzA,

Thank you for bringing this matter to our attention. We do apologise for the inconvenience caused, as we can understand your frustration.

Kindly be advised that your cell phone insurance is not directly linked to the exchange/returns policy with the network provider as your insurance covers you for accidental water damage, lost or ****** incidences.
A request for a cancellation would have needed to be put through in order for a billing to not have been charged for the full month, If the insurance was cancelled prior to the end of the month, the charge should be part month as per your account statement.

Please however note that a request for correspondence with the store has been forwarded to the stores management, as they are aware of your query.

The reference for your query is as follows: ***/GO

Again we do apologise for the inconvenience caused to you.

Thank you for your patience.

Kind regards,
Edcon customer experience team
