Account Settlement Harassment

I am being harassed by the edcon group to pay an account of which I settled in 2016. The consultant can not even tell me what my last purchase was an now after 3 years demands I pay an account that to my knowledge I closed. If this is done to others then how much more money is the edcon group *****ing from innocent customers
