ACCOUNT payment not updated

Why is it that my account is fully paid and has not been used for over a year but on my credit report it shows that the account is outstanding and has been for a while? I have been in contact with the head office and this matter has not been resolved. Provide the credit bureau with the correct information as this affects my credit scoring status.
