3 months later still waiting for paid up letter

I had an account with the Edcon group which was handed over to the attorneys, I have been in contact with the attorneys and was even given a settlement discount on my account, which my settlement payment was made in December 2014, and I was advised that it will take atleast 6 to 8 weeks for my paid up letter to be sent, 3 months later or should I say 12 weeks later I am still waiting for my paid up letter, when I call the attorneys they telling me that they waiting for Edcon to overwrite the balance..All I need is a paid letter nd I need to know how long do i have to wait since I have waited for 3 month s already.
