AVOID Edan Truck & Trailer hire

Stay far away from Edan Traders and do not hire trailers or trucks from them. Their website is https://trucktrailerhire.co.za/ There are better companies to work with. I have worked with many rental companies and this company does not care about service. The trailer we picked up from them had 10 terrible retread tyres on and the curtains were faulty. We completed the job we had booked after collecting the trailer, got a flat on day 2 and returned it on day 4. They still charged us for the full month over R20 000 even though they have daily rental options,could've done the right thing and charged us for the days we had it and refunded the rest of the money. We refused the 2nd trailer offered by them in exchange for the first one because we don't have the time or money to test their kit and return it until they get it right. It should be ready to work from day one. Unprofessional and insulting behaviour over the phone from the ladies in the office, who basically said that because we were a new company who scored low on the application, we did not deserve a trailer in better condition and laughed. So dissapointed. It's hard enough starting a new business in South Africa and it's heart breaking to get done in like this
