Beware of ecutek

Hi . Just give a warning to anyone that is thinking of using ECUTEK. I got my dream car . It's a subaru . Had it for a few weeks when it started giving me a engine warning light. Took the car to Jono form SRD . He had a look and said it's running lean and that can damage the engine. He tried to get in the ECU but it was locked. I was introduced to Andrew Jones . He is according to his advert a master tuner for ecutek. Made sense to use him to keep the original ecu. He came and had a look at the ecu . A day later he informed me that he can unlock and tune the car for me. A price give and I gave him the go ahead. I left the car at Srd and he did the tunning. I went to collect the car and was very excited. While driving home a found that the car had a problem when reaching 5000 RPM . It was cutting at 5000 Rpm and the it will go again . I contacted Andrew immediately and he said he will have a look . He was busy at a nother company so I met him there . He could not find the fault. He contacted ecutek for assistance. They said at first it was the feulpump . Then I replaced. The same problem . Then it was the wirring. Then I replaced it . The same problem. Then it was sensors . I replaced them . The same problem. I got a bit irritated about the situation and told him I'm not happy with this . Asked Jono of Srd if he will also have a look at my car with Andrew to see if he can see something. Left my car for a day at SRD and nothing happened. Andrew took the car for a drive by him self and still couldn't solve the problem. I asked for my money back seeing that the car is worse off now than what it was before. After a heated conversation with him he block all my calls and messages . I was so angry. Jono from Srd then contacted me and said he wanted to help because he felt bad that Andrew treades me so badly. I took the car to him and he took it for a drive. The came back and told me that the car was boost cutting. The problem was that the ECU was locked by ecutek software. The solution was that I ended up buying a other ecu and Jono had to tune the new Ecu .I then contacted ecutek to ask for help seeing that he is representing them and they saw the information on my car . I was shocked when I got the replay from a Mr Tobin Sinclair. After all of the conversation we had he had the strangest answers. He asked me if I sorted out the problem. I told him what I did and he rep**** that I must then see this hole thing as school money well spented. I was furious. He then blamed every one . Looking for someone else to blame . Up to today the problem was not solved with ecutek or Andrew. . Let it just be a warning the go in eye wide open when dealing with this guys .
