White collar crime - avoid Ecsponent, now Afristat

0 stars. I assisted a client and submitted a formal complaint against Ecsponent with the Financial Ombudsman. The problem is that these are experienced white collar ********* and this is evident from the documentation they required investors to sign. The documentation is drafted in such a way that it is impossible to take on the FSP. Instead of paying out investors Ecsponent then gave them a 'choice' to convert shares just before the due date. Following this move the shares became worthless. Search the internet and remember the names of those associated with this matter - this will not be their last endeavour. PS: The Financial Ombudsman could not assist and the shares are worth a few cents.
