I booked a VW Polo according to the EconomyBookings.com website. On arrival I was told it's unlikely that I would every get the VW Polo. I was given a choice between Haval H1 or Hyndai Grand i10 - worst ever and bottom of the range models. I settled for the Haval.

I was charged a deposit and rental amount of ZAR 14,959.00 and I received a refund of ZAR 9,700.00 having refuelled and washed the car using valet service. This amounts to a rental cost of ZAR 5,259.00. I was expecting to pay a total booking fee of ZAR 3,198.47 (ZAR 429.43 to secure booking + ZAR 2,769.04 outstanding fee according to booking confirmation). The cost was the main reason I chose to book with EconomyBookings.com in the first place, as opposed to booking directly with the car rental company.

This is the worst service ever received and I will never use EconomyBookings.com again!
