Stay away from Economy Car Rental

I booked a 4WD DoubleCab for 4 days to pick up at George Airport. Their Term & Condition with regard to the vehicle clearly stipulates as follows: "Our local car rental partner may reserve an amount of 5500 ZAR plus estimated rental charges" At George they wanted a deposit of R30000.00. Luckily another company could provide me a similar DC for a R3000.00 deposit and the rent was cheaper as well. I did not get a response when I requested them to refund my deposit .
