This company is a ****.

They charge a redicous excess when isurance is added and don't even specify in any way that this rediculous amount will be blocked or whatever on your credit card.

I paid the required amount when I made the booking online. The booking confirmation I received confirmed I only had to pay an amout of R 1480 when I arrived at the airport. To my surprise I had to pay R 17 000 +. They offered another option if I chose to take tje super cover insurance option. If I went with the super cover with no excess it would be a outrageous amount of - + R 7000 to rent a car for only 7 days.

I immediately cancelled the booking after receiving this information. I sent Economy Car Rentals an email and demanded my money back. Almost a week now and no response.

Do not use this company!! They will take your money and change their offer once you arrive at the airport!
