Horrible Service by EconomyCarRentals

I rented a car from these people and paid R380 on the 28th May 2021 , they confirmed the booking at Europcar EC603118. Next morning when I arrived at Europcar for pickup at 10H00, first was told they had no cars available, and that they called everyone to inform them, but they did not have my contacts, as Economyrentals did not provide them, secondly they were nonetheless not going to assist me, because I had no Credit Card, though Economy allowed me to book with a Cheque Card.

I immediately tried to call Economycarrentals, that was on a Saturday morning, their phone was off. To cut long story shot, I never got the car, had to make another booking elsewhere, and still they are not committing nor communicating, in fact I think they are refusing to pay me back the amount I paid.

So my advice is play far away from this company, you will be inconvenienced and you likely not to get your money back. Horrible
