Superlative service from Nozuko on the telephone who was the person who made me first want to work with Econotrans. Korff who was markedly better than any of the competitors who quoted - he truly understood how to measure, what to advise and he made me feel as if I had made a safe decision. The packers did a truly magnificent job. When my goods arrived in Mallorca exactly ten weeks later, I did not record one breakage. I truly didnt expect that. Brilliant people, brilliant service.

Your comments and feelings are very well noted and understood. As per our email comms, this box was not noted as missing when the shared container was unloaded in NZ, yet somehow a few weeks later on delivery they could not find it.
It should also be noted that one should not insure based on what one can afford, when the advice we give all clients is to insure accurately, for replacement in the destination country - no matter what the value might be in SA. Just the same as one would not insure a R100 000 car for R50 000 because that suits the budget - yet expect a full payout in the event of a claim.
In this case the total value of your 8 boxes of tools was declared at R20 000, yet the one box being claimed for is said to now be worth a claim of more than the total of all 8 boxes of tools.
As unfortunate as this missing box is, it cannot be fair to now criticize the insurers for not settling your claim for1 box, for the total value of 8 boxes declared.
Under the circumstances, we remain hopeful that our agents will still locate this box as they continue with their store search.
