Econo Trans for the win, Key Movers, not so much
Work is outsourced to Key Movers for the drive from CT to Joburg. Econo Trans were on time with the shuttle down in CT - what an amazing organized team. However Key Movers arrived late and they are not on time as promised by Wilna both in CT and Joburg and the bakkie they used for the shuttle service in Joburg had sand in the bottom which is not ideal. Please make sure to wrap up your small appliances with bubble wrap if you are doing that yourself. I didnt wrap my heater and paid the price as my one foot of my heater was damaged. Wilna is a star and does her best to make the move as seamless as possible.

Econo Trans is more organized and careful with one's belongings. If I had know that Key Movers was to be the outsource partner of choice I would have thought otherwise.

Thanks for your further comments on this. Wilna also felt a bit let down by them arriving late, but I have to say that this is rather the exception. We have used them as a carrier for years and have always found them to be reliable and efficient. As with any subcontracting needed ( weather a trucker, shipping line, overseas agent ) , one's reputation is always on the line, so we have already taken this up with them. Even just some better communication could have saved you the stress of waiting and wondering. We take that very much onboard and as with every move or shipment, where improvement is due, we'll take the lesson. Thanks again and best regards.
