ECODEPOT HAS TERRIBLE AFTER SALES SERVICES IT AMOUNTS TO DUMPING

Don't be fooled by their seemingly cheap prices you will end up paying more, I'd advise you to buy from a local store or other online retailers that have better after sales services and functional systems. ECODEPOT after sales services are terrible and my experiences are as follows

I bought a petrol leaf blower that would not start, I have experience with these machines as I own 2 other machines from the same manufacturer that never gave me problems. I tried to take the following remedial actions: 1. I contacted their help line via email and no response 2. I filled a return or refund form online and no response 3. I called their phone line and it did not even bother queuing me, it went straight to voicemail and told me to follow step 1 4. Going to their office is not viable because they are based in Capetown and I am in Gauteng.

I was completely stone walled and there is nothing I could do, they took my money and ran, because they now have my money, the broken machine is my problem. At this point you start losing cash and they simply don't care about their customer's urgent needs, costs or time. Therefore do business with people who actually put effort in making sure its not just about taking peoples money but ensuring a good satisfactory experience. They dump things on you whether they work or not.
