Poor Communication, Costly Mistakes, and Zero Accountability

We had an extremely frustrating experience with Eco Properties during both the purchase of our new home and the sale of our previous property.

On the purchase side, communication was poor from the start. We were often left in the dark and had to follow up ourselves for updates. After securing their commission, they essentially handed us over to another agency without properly managing the process. We also had to chase attorneys and arrange compliance certificates ourselves—tasks that should have been handled by the agent.

On the sale of our property, things were even worse. Although they listed the property, we found the buyer ourselves. We were incorrectly informed that the purchaser had given notice, which resulted in us paying occupational rent at our new home unnecessarily—while still paying our bond. This caused avoidable financial strain due to their miscommunication.

There was little to no coordination between us and the purchaser, and we were left to handle key aspects of the process, including the key handover. We also ended up fixing issues that were never part of the original disclosure.

Whenever we needed assistance, we were met with excuses and a lack of accountability.

Overall, we paid full commission for a service we largely had to manage ourselves. The experience was stressful, disorganised, and unprofessional.

I would not recommend Eco Properties based on our experience.
