Cheeky cheat

Today I was browsing for a bench. I saw a metal bench at Eco Lifestyle for R 4800. Competitors sell the bench for R 4899.

I startet with the company and asked if the bench will be reduced for Black Friday. They then raised the "normal price" while talking to R 5990 and the reduced price to R 4799.

After I complained and after making my complain public, the price dropped to R 4299. And the normal price was changed to R 4800.

isn't that a cheeky cheat ?
