Eco-Lake Apartments on Tamarillo Road in Centurion are advertised as a high security estate. This is misleading, false and doesn't justify the high costs. 1. There is only 1 security personnel working at any given time, even at night or on weekends. The security personnel can not leave the gate post to attend to any incidents around the estate, even if they hear noise. 2. Managers make use of interns or inexperienced personnel. 3. The electric fence surrounding the estate is not maintained and defunct. 4. Only 1 armed person is "back-up". 1 person, who is also the driver. 5. The caretaker who lives on the property will only come to the site of the incident hours later to alert the police. 6. No personnel will come to investigate when there is disturbing noises. 7. The estate managers will not let you know about other incidents in the estate, giving you a false sense of safety and security. 8. The cameras on the estate are only for the gate operations. There is no other point that is covered by cameras.
