POOR QUALITY OF WORKMANSHIP AND BAD ATTITUDE

On 27 October 2015 I paid a deposit of R5 990.00 to Ash for the installation of Duraturf Parklands 25mm artificial lawn. The installation took place on 29 October 2015. I was not happy with the installation and called Ash. He came out on Friday, 30 October 2015 and confirmed that he agreed that the workmanship was sloppy and that he would send out his team to see if they could fix it. If not he would take his artificial grass and proceed to refund me my 50% deposit I paid. He proceeded to take photographs and on Monday, 02 November 2015 the same installers came to check. As it is artificial grass they could not do anything about the poor finishing and admitted that due to the heat wave they did not concentrate when installing the artificial lawn and hence the sloppy and unprofessional installation. Upon calling Ash he informed me that he would send me an email on what his decision is. I waited 2 weeks and despite repeated calls Ash hung up the calls. When I did speak to him he said that he will leave the artificial grass as it is and he will not refund me my deposit and if I want I can rip out the grass myself but he won't collect it as it will cost him in man power. He is a cheat.
