ECHO LOGISTICS A TOTAL THEIVING COMPANY

Very very disappointed in the services that we received from Echo Logistics, manager Errol Foley and son Jordan Foley. They came to do a quote on removals and we were impressed with the way they conducted themselves and "seemed" to know what they were talking about compared to other companies. Day of moving we get these people pitching up, and sorry but I am not being rude, but they had no uniforms on, and really looked as though they had just been picked up from the street to assist. The way they conducted themselves was very unprofessional and would be an embarrassment to any company. They totally mishandled every one of the fragile items even with me telling them not to. Dragging the fridge and washing machine on the ground. We were advised by the manager that every box etc. would be wrapped. Not one box wrapped. I had to shout at the one packer who was throwing my overlocking machine around in the box and he totally ignored me and carried on. They were putting heavy containers on fragile boxes. They did the same thing on arrival at the new place of residence, total disrespect again. Then the driver thought he was Sterling Moss and sped down the driveway, taking the van's door off and damaging the gutters of the new property. The next day after going back to the old unit I opened my handbag, which I left in a cupboard totally out of sight, and noticed my little satin bag that I had 14 assorted gold rings in a small pill container, 2 gold arm chains and 1 gold necklace with a small crown on it, were all missing. I only noticed this because the bag was opened and a smaller bag inside containing pearls were falling out their bag. This is not as I had left it. The last time I had used the jewellery bag was a few weeks before the move and removed two gold rings. I had tied the bag very tightly and carried it around in my handbag. They broke my office table by apparently putting something heavy on top of it, plus it was scratched. Whilst unpacking I notice my cutlery which had been in a plastic box, not wrapped, had been opened and selective items ****** out of it. The cutley was also sentimental as it was a wedding present. Contacting Errol Foley he said he would do an investigation and would advise me a week later. He totally ignored messages although he read all my whatsapp messages. When I said that the final reminder was due, he rep**** via email that the removals were not insured and he's not responsible but I must advise of his going forward for repairs of the gutter. I told him that's his job. Thousands of rands ****** and no investigation done on his so called "Staff". Of course he would deny everything, but luckily I have all the proof I need.
