Touch Down Group - Pathetic (Lies,Lies,Lies)
In 2017 my Husband and I were conned into buying Timeshare from these people. We were told we were purchasing high end Timeshare with a return on investment with no interest. LIES! From the time that we have purchased this timeshare in Dunkeld -Dullstroom we have had endless problems with this group. First we were told that the Resort would be a haven for horse*****s and would have Equestrian competitions, then we were told there would be a diary farm on site. Nothing! We were also told that when we want to sell we would get assistance - None received. Levies go up without any consultation - you simply get a statement. My levies went up by +-R18000 this year for 2 weeks? Hows that possible. When you ask what levies are used for its maintenance yet units are poorly maintained. AGMs are held when investors cant attend and in 2019 we weren't even invited. No one is available to take your call when you want answers and now it says the office number is not in use. Sharon Hendriks who seems to be the one man show there is never available, does not answer emails (sent since 26 March) and doesn't answer calls. BIGGEST MISTAKE of my Life! Wish I could turn back the clock and never have signed the agreement, now trying to cancel the agreement and even that is a problem! If you see touchdown group - turn and run in the other direction

29 May 2020, 13:05Dear Mrs Hema Govander Timeshares generally represent long-term savings over renting accommodation each year, owning a timeshare is not the same as owning vacation property and has never been sold as return on investment, more as means to save money on vacation costs and offer convenience. The purchase agreements outlined the finance terms and conditions and a copy of the agreement was presented to you to read and revert back to us should you have had any questions back in 2017 when you joined the group. Besides the initial cost of the share, owners are responsible for an annual fees such as Levies, which goes toward improving the resort at the discretion of the management. Share block owners can make use of the AGM as a platform to raise their concerns by means of attendance or in writing we add the concerns to the agenda to be discussed on the day as all our owners’ feedback positive or negative are imported to us.
Since your last visit in 2017 to our Estate we have lunched the Equestrian centre that is our prestigious equine facility located in the heart of the picturesque Dunkeld Equestrian Estate. Our stables are home to 20 gorgeous Warmbloods that fall part of both our equestrian activities, volunteer programme and stud. Our foundations are solidly based upon breeding, raising and selling top quality Warmbloods, producing well rounded and knowledgeable riders, providing top class livery and offering our volunteers an unforgettable experience, while working with our gorgeous horses. Dunkeld’s Equestrian Centre’s world-class facilities make it the perfect place for a riding academy. Competitive equestrian athletes have the opportunity to fine-tune their skills. Our Equestrian Centre is a popular destination for short weekend riding workshops. Based at Dunkeld Equestrian Centre, Dullstroom Riding Academy offers: Superbly bred Warmblood horses, Knowledgeable and experienced staff, two arenas, six paddocks providing ample grazing areas, 20 spacious stables, restaurant and clubhouse, scenic outrides and Accommodation. This said Dunkeld is an agricultural development that is still in the development phase and therefore we are still in the process of completing future projects like the Dullstroom Equine Centre.
Maintenance matters get dealt with at the resort and logged to resort management to deal with, I have checked our records and could not find any specific maintenance complaint liked to your profile. Kindly forward an email to *** with the issues you would like to address.
On the 23rd of March 2020 government announced the national lockdown to take effect as from midnight that same day and we apologise that your email was missed. As we are working on skeleton staff, we unfortunately missed this communication.
Kindly draft a formal motivational letter address to management, asking that they consider your request to surrender your Seasons share block stock back to Touch Down Group. Please state the reason that lead to this dissension and include an amicable way forward in terms of past and future financial obligations toward the company.
