Poor service

I'm having a problem with Touch Down Group regarding a holiday package I bought out of which I want to get out and they keep sending me unnecessary and unhelpful responses through some guy named Thobani

I keep writing to him that I want to cancel and want my money back coz I was within the 180days cooling off period which he now claims applies to the company and not me (I only have 5 days cooling off time), problem is, I dont know which rule book or contract he is getting that ridiculous clause from

2nd, I am told they would change my subscription for a lower package instead of responding to my cancellation request with refund for what I paid.

I'm beginning to suspect that they are not honest and fair in their business dealings with me.

My next option now is the Ombudsman

Dear Mr Futwa
Thank you for your post.
In accordance with the NCR (National Credit Regulator) Members are provided with a 5 day "cool off" period from the date of signature wherein they may cancel their Agreement with full refund of any monies paid. This period allows Members the time to read through all of their documentation at their leisure, and gives Members the opportunity to look into their finances and re-evaluate their Offer to Purchase. Should they then wish to cancel as mentioned in the Acknowledgment of Presentation which is signed point by point, the cancellation request must be submitted to Touch Down Group in writing within the 5 day period.
You may cancel your contract, however, as per the Consumer Protection Act the cancellation will be subject to payment of a cancellation fee.
A consultant will contact to assist further.
Warm Regards
