Making business out of selling a lie

<p>My Fiance and I rescently got invited to a presentation for Travel Packages, this seemed like a great idea as we love travelling and felt it would not hurt to her what travel packackage Touch Down Group had to offer. It was on the 13 August 2016 when we went for the presentation. A gentleman by the name of Zaid presented the Gold Package Deal to us. This was the kind of deal where would qualify for 5 trips nationally and Internationally. All we had to do was pay a 1nce off fee of 2k (rounded off) and a monthly subscription of 500 (rounded off) for a period of 5years. </p> <p> </p> <p>Zaid (Sales person) Informed us that, all the trips were free but in order to book and international trip, there would be a booking fee payable for us of 3.5k. This was very reasonable we thought, The one selling point for us was that as soon as we pay the 1nce off registration fee, we did not have to wait to make subscription payments, we could start booking holidays for ourself or our friends and enjoy our membership.</p> <p> </p> <p>This was all proven to be untrue (the immediate travel part) on the 8th September 2016, when i tried to make a booking. The consultant informed me that we did not qualify for free holidays and had to pay a booking fee of 1.5k. This was all new to me and i communicated that, this was not how things were supposed to be based on the pitch we were given on the Gold Membership, she advised that i call their other office and speak to the person that sold us the deal.</p> <p>I immediately informed my fiance of this and tried to call the sales person (Zaid) who was not in at the moment. I then sent an email detailing my concerns to ********** as it was the email available on the website. There hasnt been a responce from that email adress. </p> <p> </p> <p>Still on the 8th, My Fiance managed to speak to a guy by the name of Josh for the same office Zaid (sales agent) works at. Josh assured that he would assist in resolving this issue and that further steps would be taken against the agent that sold us a "LIE" because we wanted to make a reservation, he advised me that i could still reserve and make that required 1.5k booking fee andassured that i will be refunded to me. </p> <p> </p> <p>At this rate i do not trust this company and any promises they make. What gusrantee do i have that i will get back that 1.5k ... I have been following up on this matter and nothing is being resolved. I really feel that its unfair for a company to know that one of their own sold people a false deal and is taking time to have the issue resolved. I dont care about their internal HR proceudures, we are paying and were sold a deal and expect the company to stick to their end of their deal. To this day, nothing has happened, because we are the victims here, we are the ones constantly sending emails and making calls.
