Playstation 5 - representatives give inconsistent information about product availability

We visited the EB Games Toowoomba branch on Sunday the 9th May 2021 to enquire about Playstation 5 availability. The representative at the store told us that they will the receive a shipment on the 11th and that we need to be at the store at 9am on Tuesday. We wanted to prepaid/preorder and she told us that it is not allowed.

Tuesday morning another representative told us that they received the Playstation 5's Monday evening and that all has been sold online already.

I told the representative that I think the service and information given to potential customers is unprofessional. She told me that I am not fair and cant say that. She still represents EB Games.

It feels like normal people can't get the opportunity to buy Playstation 5 as it is selling at much higher prices on ebay.

I feel that EB Games dont have enough controls in place to ensure that all people are treated fairly and has the same opportunity to buy you products.

Can you please investigate this as other people will be affected by your poor customer service.
