Dissatisfied Eben Havenga

My wife fell in December 2024 and tore ligaments in her ankle and had a huge bruise and hematoma just below her knee. As we were going on holiday a few days later, she contacted them and enquired about renting a wheelchair, they suggested a knee scooter and ordered it. We received it and soon realised that she cannot use it in the way it is meant to be used as her shin just below the knee was very sore and swollen, so she too to sitting on it. We went on holiday and soon realised that this knee scooter is not working for her, she probably used it less than 200 meters. We then got the the reminders from them about the portion the medical aid did not pay, but they never checked with the fund to find out if, or how much they will pay for this scooter. The keep on sending us messages about the outstanding amount even after i sent them e-mails explaining our predicament. We are sitting with a "thing' that was hardly used and we will not need it in a hurry.

We will NEVER make use of Eben Havenga orthopaedics ever again.
