Ebay safe platform to order from oversea

It was for the first time me and my wife buy something via ebay from UK. The bank tha we are using reversed the money after we pay because they realised that we were paying oversea. We then use another bank card to pay but we were scared that we will lose our money. After one week we received our MG clutch cabel because there is no spares for MG cars in South Afrca. We now know which platform to use when we want to order from oversea. Ebay is reliable. Thank you for helping my family.
