eBay: Questionable ethics

eBay: If anybody has imported goods into South Africa through eBay, BEWARE. It transpires that eBay collect import duties from buyers that are far in excess of what is required by SA Customs and it would appear that they just "pocket" any difference that their couriers end up by paying (If anything). Also I have found their GPS courier charges are ******ionate.

eBay often levy incorrect customs duties for SA imports (way too high) and seem to "pocket" any over-payments after deducting from your credit card. Their GSP courier charges are ******ionate which you are locked into because sellers insist on using their GSP.
