Stay far away from George, he will just take your deposit and ignore you from then on. I knew George quite well and decided to give him the job of repairing my carport. I paid him the deposit of R32,000 on the 30th March 2022. After 3 Months of him keeping me strung along I asked him to pay back my deposit so I can get someone else to do the job. Lets just say today is the 28 of June 2023 and no payment was made and the time I did get ahold of him he just keeps making empty promises to pay. I went to go see a attorney who sent him letters and his response was that he does not respond to letters. The next thing to do is to drag the case to the court system which is completely unnecessary seeing as I gave more than one chance to even pay it off monthly but not one cent received. So if you are reading this, stay far away from George.
