What exactly are we dealing with?

My father passed away on the 30 October 2021, and I found out that there is money I need to claim. I went to Protea branch on the 22 December 2021. Because they mentioned that you can only claim before before 3 months after death. Unfortunately today is the 29 December 2021 and I submitted on the 22 December 2021. I asked when the money is going to be available in my account. She rep****, only 24 hours. Till today I haven't received anything from them.
