Poor service

Working with easy life kitchens has been very disappointing and the poorest part of my renovating experience. The designer, Harry was quite difficult, and of very little help.

It often felt like he was designing his own kitchen, and we had to fight him for things we wanted. We felt he was arrogant and adamant about things when we had questions, concerns, or tried to make corrections. There has been countless times in the process where he has argued regarding something and had to come back to apologize as he was in fact wrong. We completely understand that people make mistakes and need to learn, but we often felt he was rude in his manner when dealing with us. To name a few examples; we requested our thin top draws to be flat-fronted, he argued that all our drawers, even the 13cm ones will have shakers and that we are foolish to think that a shaker on such a thin face would look silly. My wife really wanted open selves in the kitchen and he just did not like the idea so he made it impossible to realize. He promised us that easy life kitchens only supply soft closing hinges, surprise when our drawers where installed without such hinges.

The newest problem is that our freestanding stove space does not line up with the space left for the extractor fan. Many of the door faces coming out of the factory were damaged - some corners are chipped and sections of paint smudged.

We were also promised installation between 1-6 December. Just before installation commenced the dates changed to 1-8 December. It is the 16th today and the kitchen is still not finished with multiple issues that need to be resolved.

When we decided to use easy life kitchens we did so because the company had good reputation and we hoped to get the luxury kitchen we always dreamed of. However the service we have received has been disappointing and the product even more so.
