Pathetic waste of time
So Easy Equities have a service that for an extra fee you can withdraw money much faster and do not have to wait for the usual 5 business days.
So on Sunday afternoon I submitted a request for withdrawal of funds and received the following message:
" Thanks for sending through your request for an early settlement of funds related to a sale you made on EasyEquities.
This email serves to confirm that we have received that request and are processing it for you. If you want to understand when you’ll receive the funds, please consult the details below.
PLEASE NOTE:
· The early settlements are made in a batch each day. If your request was made BEFORE 12h00 (ie. Midday), the payment will be made in today’s batch, and you can expect the funds in your account anywhere between about 18h00 and 24h00, depending on the institution you bank with.
· If the request was made AFTER 12h00 (ie. Midday) today, the payment will only be made in tomorrow’s batch, and you can expect the funds in your account tomorrow evening between 18h00 and 24h00.
· If your request was made AFTER 12h00 (ie. Midday) on a FRIDAY, the payment will only be made in the batch on the following Monday and you can expect the funds in your account on the Monday evening. The funds will not be paid into your account on the weekend."
Well, as far as I am concerned this message CLEARLY indicated that I would have received the money last night. So I gave my farm workers leave so they could go to town today to buy groceries. So Easy Equities never paid the money and my workers wasted all their time and transport money for nothing!
I also sent Easy Equities two emails this morning but they are clearly in no hurry to reply.
What I do know is that they will say "yesterday was a public holiday so it does not count". Now where in your response to me, Easy Equities, did you mention that public holidays do not count? Where?
