Large unexplained deficit in price paid and actual share price - Refusal to respond as to why

Recently I contacted Easy Equities on their support email: *** in order to ask them why there was such a large deficit in the actual share-price at the time of purchase and the price that I actually paid for the shares bought using their platform. This deficit does not include fees paid, which are charged separately in addition to the price paid for the actual shares. I have received no reply from them after a week, leaving me awfully suspicious that they have no valid answer for me. It cannot be anything to do with very low share-liquidity as the shares that I bought at the time were for Shoprite inc. A quick look at google will show you that these shares are traded approximately every 30 seconds.

In the email sent, I asked them:

"Please explain the reason for the difference in price paid (R 161,50 - almost off the chart), and the actual share price (R153,97) at the time (of purchase)"

Along with some screenshots attached for evidence. No answer....

Good day Ryan,

This spread on pricing should be because there's a 15-minute delay on pricing for listed stocks and instruments.
Please see the relevant FAQ:
