EasyEquities: Cheap platform in all respects. 4 weeks and no TFSA account, no support!

With AI on everyone's mind I point to a worrying trend that many companies are trying to automate their interface with customers when ironically that is the all-important touch point where you can impress the people without whom there is no business.

In my view EasyEquities has failed to provide an intuitive system and cannot hope to improve it unless management is willing to have a degree of human interaction. Whilst EasyEquities was recommended to me as a low fee platform I would never recommend them without serious disclaimers.

I am super annoyed that EasyEquities does not offer any option of escalating an issue. That is particularly frustrating because their "Contact US" is not thought through because it does not cover all issues and has no option of "Other".

If you want to use EasyEquities know that their name is misleading and be prepared to suffer huge frustrations!

I am hanging on for three more days in the hope that after three and a half weeks they will finally activate my TFSA account. After that I think it will be better to pay a little extra and receive a professional service.
