EasyEquities a danagerous place or what?

I am new to easy equities. Wanted to deposit some money on TFSA. I am wondering if I have come to the wrong place. My KYC/FICA verification is taking long. I create tickets. It get closed with them assuming that it was resolved. Has anyone got any advice for me please?
