Avoid Investing Through Easy Equities

Our stokvel has had an account with Easy Equities for nearly five years. In August 2025, we attempted to withdraw funds, but encountered a serious issue: the platform would not allow us to update our banking details, effectively blocking the withdrawal. We logged multiple support tickets and initially received only automated responses that did not address the problem or offer any resolution. I escalated the matter by contacting their call centre, where agents acknowledged the issue and promised to escalate it and call back. None of those promises were fulfilled. Despite countless follow-ups and emails to their complaints line, no one has taken ownership or resolved the issue. It has now been three months, and we still cannot access our funds due to a glitch that EasyEquities has failed to fix. This experience has been extremely frustrating and disappointing. It raises serious concerns about the platform’s reliability and customer service. If you value access to your money and responsive support, we strongly advise against using Easy Equities.
