Parking Fees and Construction Cause Nothing But Problems

I work just a few hundred metres up the road from Eastgate, making this the most convenient place for me to shop. Or at least it used to be convenient. Since they introduced the parking fees for non-covered parking it has been a nightmare. There is almost always a queue to get out and many times an entire queue of cars has had to reverse because there was an issue with someone's ticket. On two occasions I myself have had ticket issues after visiting the gym and validating my ticket - when I reached the front my ticket was rejected after I had validated it and the rude, unprofessional woman who answers when you press the call button told me my two hours was up which was impossible because if you looked at the time stamp on my ticket you would see it hadn't even been one hour.

In addition to this, the ramp to the entrance on Ernest Oppenheimer is frequently closed, meaning I have to turn around and get held up in traffic on my way to use one of the other entrances where I encounter more traffic due to various other ramps being closed as a result of the ongoing construction. Yesterday I managed to reach the shops 15 minutes before closing as a result of all of the blocked entrances - I then still had to pay for parking due to the ridiculous 15 minute limit which I missed by seconds.

This is absolutely pathetic and I would rather drive to Bedford Centre if this persists much longer. I understand the construction will pose a problem but then they should have held off on the parking fees until construction is completed, or at least increased the time limit temporarily because 15 minutes in that disarray is impossible.
