******** Syndicate operating at Eastgate parking area

<p>I parked at Eastgate Shopping mall covered parking on 14 December 2016 from 19h00. When i arrived after going to the cinema, I could not get into the parking area as it was locked. When they did open, I went to my car and found that someone had cut away my spare tyre with the whole locking mechanism as well. This costs R8000 altogether. When I asked for camera footage for the parking area from Eastgate Management, they claim there are no cameras in that area of parking. This is covered parking that one pays for and it has no security cameras? This is unacceptable for a large shopping centre. Also the guards seemed suspicious making me think this was an inside job by the gurds themselves. They know where the cameras are and when the parking area is locked by them, they can do as they please.</p> <p>Another perosn I met when reporting the incident, had her car broken into the same day.</p> <p>DO NOT PARKAT EASGATE MALL. STAY AWAY IF YOU HAVE A CAR OR USE UBER.</p>
