Car break-in at Eastgate Mall Parking

<p>I parked at Eastgate Shopping mall on evening of 28 December 2016 and my car was broken into, and several items were ******. The glass was forced open somehow and my sunglasses, some clothes that I had bought earlier, pens, torch, keys and some loose change was taken. These items have a total value of about R2000 but it was the fact that it is not safe to park under cover at Eastgate that was the biggest cocern. I reported it to the Duty Manager called Jim but he has done nothing about it yet. He claims there are no CCTV cameras in the parking area so they will not be able to show me the theft taking place.</p>
