Babies treated inhumane
<p>We decided to visit the Eastgate shopping mall on Sunday 6 June. We chose eastgate because of its location, as we're from Pretoria and my parents from the East Rand. Upon arrival we met up with my parents, and found my baby daughter needed a diaper change. I went with my parents to the restaurant, while my wife went to the bathrooms. After being seated at the restaurant, my wife returned furious. There is no baby changing facilities in the Food Court area. When she asked one of the people who work there, the lady just pointed down, to indicate downstairs, with a 'can't care' attitude. I'm pretty sure, that the bathrooms in the food court is the busiest of them all? Why should babies be treated differently, to any other human being? She was eventually changed on the floor of the paraplegic bathroom. I find this an utter disgrace, and even though my money spent there wouldn't make a difference if I say I won't be coming back. I'm sure the posts we make on social media will make a difference.</p>

We sincerely apologise for the response you received from our cleaner. Our cleaners are properly trained in terms of customer service. This was obviously not the case and the matter will be addressed with the staff.
Baby change rooms are available at the entrance 3 and entrance 6 bathrooms. We have taken note of your comments re the directional signage and will look at a way of addressing this.

Please also note the distances between Entrances 3 & 6. We were at the food court, as far as I remember, Entrance Nine.
With moving to JHB now, I thought Eastgate would be our Mall of choice, as it would be the nearest. I guess I was wrong.
Malls are big attractions, because they are supposed to help people, by having well known shops under one roof. In the same time, people want to feel safe, and feel valued.
Be sure I will never return to Eastgate.
