Puppies - Appalling conditions

Today we visited Bird and Pets for Africa for the first time.

The area where the dogs are kept is unbearable. There are no bedding or blankets for them to lie on. The space was full of dog feces.

We also noticed the German Shepherd eyes appeared to have an infection, and she is extremely weak. The dog spends all day in that small cage and cannot even stand properly.

I asked the woman working there if these dogs are ever let out of their cages, and her response was that they only leave the cages when they are sold.

We are going to report this to the SPCA.

People need to stop buying dogs from places like this.

To the owners of this place: I wish I could put you and your workers in these cages so that you can sleep in such appalling conditions!!
