I entered into a contract with Eastpoint Bokburg , for a rent to buy , when I entered into the contract it was 3 days before the 1st of the coming month , so on top of the 1st instalment due they charged me a pro-rata for the 3 days, in May 2026 I skipped a payment, I called them and spoke to my account manager to inform them that I skipped and asked if they can do a double payment the following month , the account manager said she has to confirm with their manager and will they will come back to me , they never did , June , July all payments went through accordingly, Mid Aug on the 11 , I get a call from East point telling me that the is instructions to repossess the car with immediate effect for the non payment in May, I was not even given an opportunity to negotiate. On the 12th they sent these guys to repossess the car , I was at work , they came and took the car ,not using a tow truck , the drove the car with my petrol, Month end of August Eastpoint debits my account for the full amount of August , I called them a number of times for a refund for the pro rata because I did not use the car for the whole month, I was not assisted I was just told that I'm not entitled to the refund, I have sent them an email to query the issue of the pro-rata and also I'm querying the amount charged for the repossession which is R4500, which I find very unreasonable , the amount is not even stated on the contract so how do they charge this amount , I have not received a response , please kindly help me
