DEPOSIT PAID FOR PAVING - JOB NOT STARTED

Mr Burger submitted a quotation to repair and install my paving. He required a 50% deposit from me, which I did on 22/11/2015. Job was supposed to commence on 03/12/2015.<br> I have had to contact Mr Burger frequently, he would tell me that he could not do the job because of the rain, then he had health problems, then shut-down in December. He then promised me, in writing, that he would start the job on 06 January 2016, failing this, he would re-imburse me my deposit plus 10%.When he did not contact me,I phoned him on the 06 January, he promised that he would call me back in an hour, to date, I have heard nothing.<br> I don't think that my paving will ever get done. Honestly feel that I have been conned.
