Beware Earthmove Logistics (Crescent Logistics) is a ****

On 27th May 2021, I concluded a contract to rent a 34 ton side tipper truck from Earthmove Freight and Logistics (PTY) LTD for 6 months until 27th Novemeber 2021 renewable monthly. I got a truck on 28th May 2021. I took a truck to the farm on 31st May 2021 where it was scheduled to work but the truck could not start because the GIT insurance documents were out dated. I tried to resolve the GIT issues via the sales lady called Vuyokasi but she told me that she is unable to help me. I had to aquire my own GIT insurance myself in order to continue with the farm contract which was an extra expenditure to me. On 4th June 2021, the truck was withrawn from me and given to another client without my knowledge and consent. I only find out later when I called the driver that he was instructed to go and start work somewhere else. The driver comfirmed that he got instructions from Vuyokazi but Vuyokazi refused to have had knowledge of the truck whereabouts. On 5th May 2021 Vuyokazi told me that the truck has been recalled due to defective cylinders ant needs to be repaired. On the 7th May 2021 Vuyokasi changed her cell phone sim card and I could not get hold of her anymore.

On 10 May 2021 a guy called David send me wattsapp that he is busy trying to help me get my truck back. He kept on giving me dates where he was rxpecting a truck but those dates did not materialise. On the 18 June David text me a wattsapp message that he has failled to help me and I must check my emails for a correspondence from Earth move senior managent. On 18 th June, I recieved a refund credit note where a sales manager called Lilian Rocha told me that they are unable to replace my truck but they are willing to refund me 3/4 value of the initial contract. Eventhough I wanted my full money to be refunded I signed the credit note to avoid conflicts. Lilian told me the truck was not defective but was double booked and she had to take it from us and give it to another customer.

UP until today, 20/07/2021, as I am writting this review, I have lost the truck and recieved no refund from Earthmove. This company has ****med many innocent South Africans of their hard earned money and they are willing to continue ******** millions of citizens unles we as a country we collectively report their ******** conduct and close this ****.
