refusal to accept exchange of item

I bought 5 items in Menlyn branch just before Christmas, 1 item was small and i have misplaced the till slip. When I went to Waterfall Mall, Rustenburg, staff there refused to do an exchange as I did not have till slip and with very bad attitude went on saying \mam
