Poor performance from Earthzone as Managing Agent

Earthzone portfolio manager attends trustee meetings when requested which is good and the reason for one star. However, when asking for the meeting minutes, which I could not attend, they respond that they will be sent when they are ready. So, as per the law, they have 7 days to distribute them. When asked again after 12 days, they ignore the email, and have ignored the 3 follow up reminder emails. They have managed the complex since inception in 2008, but only recently informed the trustees that the BC has never paid tax, which apparently is now in excess of R100k. They prepared a budget for the trustees to approve, but this R100+k is not included in the budget. There are also other items excluded from the budget.

On their website, they "take on new business" for R95.00 per flat, but they are charging us R148.00 per flat. They changed their management system, then added the cost of it to the levy statements without asking permission from the BC members. They have not managed to curb the trend of levy non-payment and the arrears has grown steadily over the years to the degree that some months there has been insufficient money to pay some creditors. And, yes, as per the other review, they charge a 10% collection fee on arrears payments plus other letter and reminder fees. There are other bad performance issues, but, for now, it's enough. And, I am expecting a rebuff from them trying to deny my comments.
