Ban them from operating
This company should not be doing business at all. They are all about the numbers. How many people can they get to raft at the same time and how much money can they make. Their safety equipment is OLD, worn and is probably never cleaned or dried after use. You are left to grab at the helmets and safety vests like idiots, trying to find something that is actually intact. You are then carted off in a truck to the water. The safety briefing is sad and rattled off without concern if anyone actually understood anything. You are then dumped into the water, two to a raft and pretty much left to get on with it. Unfortunately, unless you have rafted though a good company you would have nothing to compare Earth Adventures to and you would think their methods are normal and acceptable when it is not. I do not think the guides even knew how many people were in the water with them and would not notice if something had gone wrong. They also did not check that everyone was off the water before the 5 min lunch break. You cannot surely run a company like this Carl? Have some pride for goodness' sake! Your complacency is going to end in tragedy. Another point - it clearly states in your fine print that no children under 9 are allowed. Yet when we went their were two children under the age of 5 rafting with safety gear so ill fitting they may as well not have bothered.
