This business, branded Eagle Projects on Facebook and their letterhead, came to do a quotation on 2 security gates for us on the 18th of January. We paid a 50% deposit on the same day for the work to go ahead. 3 days later had to follow up on this again since no response. 4 days later had to ask about an installation date again. On 28th of January he promised installation on 8 Feb. (Claimed he went to collect materials for our gates on the 27th). On 5th of Feb we tried to confirm the installation, no reply. On 6th of Feb, no answer on his phone, messaged to say he is at the doctor. Then later said he is in a difficult financial position and he'll be in touch about our deposit. On Friday the 7th of Feb he committed to paying the deposit again. To this date, nothing. Last correspondence was that he is trying to sell some machinery to pay us. This is nothing but *****, he took our deposit knowing he was in dire straits. Avoid Peter Swain at all costs.
